Who's RelExpo?

So who is the guy in the hooded shroud? Well... me of course, but why should you care? Interesting question  I basically just asked myself. 

Old School Gamer:
I have been an avid gamer all my life, beginning with an Atari 2600 and Intellivision and onward. Pong, Burger Time and Pitfall are my favorites that I can clearly remember not winning at.... *chuckles* I now work with what (somewhat) started the passion in videos games for me... arcades. Yes, in the very essence of the word, they are archaic, but there is nothing like the feeling of dropping in some quarters/tokens into a machine and vying for a high score or the ownage of the person standing next to you. I was left in arcades as a child while my parents shopped for groceries or other goods because there was so such thing as a Wal-Mart or one store for everything. This took time. So did mastering moves and combos. I'd run to Babbages or Walden Books to read up on the latest GamePro magazine for these special moves! No internet... what?!! Crazyness huh? 

Ultima Online:
I can fondly remember many hours spent on my 14.4 baud modem playing Ultima Online when it was released (and some beta) which became a passion for me, especially reporting on Game Master and Player events, guilds and more for UOSS. Some of my really old work is still up on their site (for historical purposes as they put it) which just makes me feel nice and old! I had created an Introduction to Roleplaying, a Guide to the Lost Lands and more stories and articles that are archived down in the most archived of places. Please remember, these articles were written about 16+ years ago so the grammar might not be the best (and English was my 2nd language back then). Still fun to read after so many years.

I have been a GM on the UOEvolution shard for while now. Typically I run events and quest lines, including the season holiday goodies. 

Professional Gaming:
Most recently I have worked at a couple of gaming studios, with the most profound being at Riot Games working on League of Legends. There I was known as RelPor (obvious UO reference and loved when people commented). I still play LoL under the name VasCorpPor so add me if you'd like to throw down some matches. More recently I've enjoyed the change of scenery to Heroes of the Storm (add RelExpo#1440).

Parenting:
Two boys, both too cute to even comprehend, are my scions. I do everything I do with them in mind.
